Adobe Uninstalling / Reactivating Awesomeness

Every few months I need to reimage my computer, move to a new computer, wipe my computer or do something else that Adobe doesn’t expect me to do. 

That being said, I’m running a legit CS3 suite and every time I do a wipe, I first deactivate my adobe products. 

Then when I get ready to reinstall, I get this error:

 

Licensing for this product has stopped working

 

Searching Adobe and the Internet for answers is mostly unhelpful because everyone thinks that a simple uninstall / reinstall will fix the problem.

I finally found a link on the Adobe site that will resolve this issue:

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/401/kb401528.html

Solution 4 is the one you want to do.
